I would like some advice about computers. When the prices change on Betfair, does someone with a top spec P.C get those prices on screen any faster than someone with a decent but far from top spec P.C get them? I had assumed that does not happen because there is relatively little information to process but now I’m not so sure.

not an expert but id assume theres not much difference, when u press refresh your refreshing your browser so maybe internet speed would be more of a factor.  like if you were on super duper fast internet and i was still on telephone dial up internet and we pressed refresh at the same time, your internet conection would load the new information onto your browser quicker. although most people on broadband now so wouldnt assume this was much of a factor either

Thanks for reply yuyutu. I had assumed the same so I do have the fastest broadband but just lately I’ve been missing most of the prices that really stand  out so I’ve started to wonder why.

In a word, NO.

To get faster prices you need a product that uses the API, such as betangel.
