PPs cut Wogan from 10s into 7/4 yesterday , cant see it myself but even for a show loved by Old Foggies,  Wogan is surely a bit too long in the tooth even for this job ?

Agree Wogan a bit too long in the tooth even for this job, but would surely be good for the ratings with huge built-in fan club of oldies who watch TV in the afternoons.  Gyles Brandreth would be good for the job I reckon. Stephen Fry 16-1, but don't think he would be too keen on the job.  Christopher Biggins a possible outsider.

don't think any of that lot would be right for the show, no, no, no.  And the Yanks didn't want Cheryl Cole
