I've been using it since its release and have had no problems with Betfair (even when others were reporting the glitches you mention) so i'm not sure what the story is. The one problem I have come accross is on the Sp Index page not being able to display prices.
Do you have another machine you can try it on first? |

I don't, or not one that does not need to visit the repair shop. I think I will be bold and
update the next time it reminds me. Thanks for your input Gin. |

No problem.
I guess (thinking about it) trying it on another machine wouldn't help anyway as it seems it is probably causing problems on certain pc's / setups. If you try FF4 and it all goes t!ts up, I guess you can always uninstall it and roll back to the previous version (I assume!). Failing that, you could use another browser (I always have Internet Explorer installed as a back-up). |

I have had problems with FF4 for a few months now it gets progressively slower as the day goes on almost grinding to a halt,I have given up with all the brower's and gone over to rapid or my Market feeder pro.
Hope it works ok for you, others seem not to have the same probs. |

Thanks Velo. I know I have a memory leakage problem with betfair atm and I don't want to make it worse. I will stick where I am. Firefox have not really explained the benefits of the upgrade, so why break something that just about works?

yeah i agree its difficult enough making profits without adding the stress of a less than perfect browser in to the equation

Similarly to chrome the "What if" figures are all wrong. So it's no good to me.

I find with FF, it seems to just bog down as the day goes forward (I have a 1 second refresh pretty well running from the first to last race).
I've been using chrome now and it is a lot smoother (I'm on Mac, btw). Also, I put the platform on a separate window rather than a tab and this seemed to smooth things as well. |
