I've read the rules and regulations and I can see that the commission rate might go below the 5%
normal rate (this is horse racing). But sometimes Betfair charges me 5.11% or 5.06%. What's that
all about? Anyone know?

It wont happen if you start betting higher amounts or taking a little more risk in your trades.

Ah. I think I can answer my own question. It's because my winnings are
so pitifully small that the halfpenny rounding difference shows up as
a percentage!
