1X2 Vs Asian Hadicap question

Been betting on football for a while now but I still don't know which offers better value, the 1X2 market or asian handicaps?

I use to think it was the asian handicap market simply because the bookmakers generally have a smaller over-round on these markets and you generally bet at just below the even mark should you take the current line. However recentley I've started to think the 1X2 may offer the best value especially on the close handicap like thw (0.25 and 0.75) for example because you greatly benefit from a win with your selections and you only really end up better off taking the asian hadicap when your selection draws if you take the (+0.25) line for example. Would be interested to here people's thoughts on this and which type of bet they do and which offers more value?
