its just frustrating that when purple had the chance to make big gains they just sat back and done nothing. purple WONT catch up now, it will only take a US based company with big money to come in take over, and first we have to wait for the yanks to allow the betting.

How much in money terms can you win before coming under the tax charge?

If the other site had the same liquidity, then it would be very attractive for many, but agree with rod above. If a US based company opened up and the laws changed over there, it would be serious competition and probably enough to tip this ship.

I agree with the general principle mentioned above, namely that for anything to happen in this world it usually comes from USA but how about tradebetx, matchbook or intrade ? how are they doing ?

Bobman I'd imagine if you were the worlds best luckiest gambler, and won EVERYTHING it'd be about 5k, as you get effectively 1k initial bank payed for you on 20% of your winnings, but obviously the more you lose/win higher amount is.

Have pity on the Germans, if their mad guv gets the way the companies will have to pay 16.% tax which in order to turn a profit they'll have to rake a lot more than 20% off the punters, without any PC. Insanity.

As bf's direct competitor and latecomer, can purple not just copy the markets and the layout from bf as a start? Always confused by purple's "correct score" market and usually takes a couple of seconds more to third fourth check before I place a bet there..
