...... bit of a frustrating day yesterday - had my chances to green up in the tennis, football and even the athletics but chose not to .... forgot that British athletes are useless when it comes to winning ..... bank now down to £15250 .... work today so won't be around much today.

To green up or not to green up ... football 0-0 score bet went from 2.9's down to 1.5's, tennis bet on Watson went from 4's down to 2's - so do you green up to cover at least the initial outlay or do you perhaps pick the ultimate winner at any price right from the start. I tend to enjoy the trading aspect via the change in the odds but others tend to focus on picking out a winner right from the start and sticking blind to it... interesting subject to debate ....

Gee how frustrating just saw the odds Jessica Ennis went down to in the Heptathlon ... I backed her at 2.58 and she went all the way down to 1.3's .... before stuffing up where she has little to no chance of winning ... should have greened up stupid Undern.

hi undern, still going along nicely I see. Don't get chance to read all your posts as I rarely visit the BF forum these days but always like to check in on your progress even if I don't actually post anything.
Whichever way you look at it your progress over the past 5 months is pretty impressive. You've dealt with the setbacks and continued with the forward progression. Keep the focus and the £100k will be here sooner than you think. You treat it like a hobby and it's turned into a very profitable one. Making around £12.5k in 5 months is not to be sniffed at! When you'll reach £100k depends on a lot of things but at your current rate of progress you might say avg £2.5k a month will take you 40 months (just over 3 years) or Multiplied your bank x6 over 5 months so it will take you another 6 months or so. I'd say it will be somewhere in between but will be interesting to follow the progress. I know you realise this but letting complacency creep in can mean it could all come crashing down, as it has for me on many occasions! I did something similar to this a few years ago and was going great after 6 months then one day was in the wrong frame of mind and it all came crashing down, progressively over the course of the next few days I proceeded to lose about 3 times the amount that i'd made. I'm not trying to put the mockers on you, far from it, as I am confident that you can succeed, just trying to ensure you keep things in perspective. So far you have shown you can take a bad day on the chin and progressively turn them around so continuing in this vein should see you suceed. Keep it up! |
