Unfortunately, betfair is not a restaurant where in the case of a bad meal, it goes back to the kitchen and "make good" takes fifteen minutes, a bottle of wine on the house to smooth things over.

Saturday's crash did not happen in a blink.  Those in betfair towers would have seen glitches.  But somewhere someone made the decision to push through rather than shut and the engine that had been running in the red exploded.

We, as clients, put our trust into betfair that when we put large sums of money into position that it is safe.

Regardless of the T & C's, compensation to those affected (I was not) should be given compensation in free bets, not be told they have to spend money and then win in order to earn compensation.
