It's ineptitude, it goes down about 15 times a week, most of them at random, I think a DDOS would be more specific.
iirc they explicitly denied DDoS in the live chat, so it better not be.
not this I suspect, because if people claimed they relied on that assurance when they decided to take positions and it turned out to be deliberate misinformation, it could be complicated for them.
Putting aside all the hassle it's causing right now (difficult I know) I'm delighted that it's happened at one of the worst possible times for them.
I also hope it's completely f***** during Cheltenham when it doesn't conflict with the markets I play.
