Just a couple of questions about the move to Gibraltar and placement of bets, which could be answered by someone at Betfair if possible, or regular API users.

1. Are all bets for UK customers now routed via Gibraltar in the same way that bets for non-UK customers are routed via Malta? What is the approximate extra ping time in ms for this to occur? Does it explain the sluggish performance in the site that some have been experiencing today?

2. Are bets placed via (a) the Betfair web UI and (b) the Betfair UI routed in the same way, or does one offer a time advantage over the other?

3. Does anyone have any bet placement response times to help answer question 2 above?

4. Have regular api users noticed any increase in bet placement times today after the move to Gibraltar compared with yesterday.

Thanks

correction, should read "2. Are bets placed via (a) the Betfair web UI and (b) the Betfair API routed in the same way, or does one offer a time advantage over the other?

And also, is the 'response time' you get in an API application the same as the bet placement time. i.e. if response time is 80ms, does that mean the bet is placed 80ms after you click submit.

If you could post your location and response time that would be helpful.
