DFC, just a quick note here. You had a successful CS laying system last year, why are you trying to reinvent the wheel this season? I think you layed xxxx CSs last season (mostly 1 CS per match) and were deep in green, why did you abandon the approach and are troubling yourself with such mess this year? At times you admit you lose track of the structure of your position given the number of markets you are involved in, sometimes you admit overstaking for the same reason, today you "forgot" about certain bets, what went wrong? It was inspiring to follow your CS lays (apart from the scary chasing adventures) but it is not anymore. Quite the contrary, TBH. Even if you end up in profit here and there, the path you have chosen does not have a happy ending. I wish you reconsider what you are doing. Right now you are just wasting a lot of your time as well as money here. Apologies for being direct, I wish you well. -mt-

I am mainly LAYING in MATCH MARKET, so the odds are far LOWER there generally.......OK ....I hedge with HT/FT market mainly and some CS BACKS sometimes.....but the ROI is far HIGHER doing this than doing CS LAYS....SO FAR. Also, if I get a HIT the HIT is far lower than a CS LAY HIT. So far have avoided ANY serious HITS over 4 day period..... Therefor I trust you appreciate why I am using current strategy using MAINLY MATCH MARKET. If I start to LOSE MONEY on thread ....then I will review what I am doing. With number of bets i do .....I will make MISTAKES more so than with 1 CS LAY on a match etc......This is just part of "risk" operating this way. Backed out the GREMIO bet on OVER 1.5 gs.....as don't like the football being played ....

As a little exercise, I just built a spreadsheet that calculates and charts overall (cumulative) p/l for bets placed in various markets on a football match (HT/FT, HT market, FT market, HT score, FT score, over/under 1.5,2.5,3.5 and 4.5 goals). If interested, send me your email and I'll forward it to you (no need to hurry as I'll be out of town and away from my PC until Sunday evening). It can help you track your net position and perhaps even prevent you from forgetting about certain bets.  |

I keep a speadsheet of all FOOTBALL bets and can do "analysis" work if necessary. Been stuffed on HORSES today .....3 HITS ...and again I slipped back into (A) LAYING too many in races that are dodgy to lay in....and (B) OVER STAKING .....
So just over £400 down on HORSES ......I keep selecting lays in RACE TYPES that are a minefield to lay in......and compound that error by OVER STAKING.....So BETTING BANK decimated ...again....down to £293....( OK it is still more than the £158 start on thread 5 days ago ....but still far too much to loss on 1 day....) |

0-0 HT .....I suspect the home team will really have a go 2nd half to try to score....this will suit SL , as they are a break-away type team...and they might score on break.

Morning DFC, hope you`re well mate. I`ll start on the football around 3:30 today, my usual stuff
laying correct score after 65/75 mins being played on certain matches. I understand where you`re coming from with overstaking, Last week i was £800 up, average bet size £50, lost the whole lot in one night because i was having a good week, did another £500 too, fortuanately got it all back, withdrawn this morning and determined to keep my discipline. Its a tough game, the swings, highs & lows always seem to be there for me. Greyhound Racing: -£32.00 | Horse Racing: -£1,014.36 | Soccer: £1,165.69 | Tote: | Total P&L: £119.33 Just looked at 3 months p&l, not sure it`s worth all the stress at times. Though i did lose over a grand on a stupid bet which was out of character even for me. In a nutshell, a new start for me today mate. Good luck DFC, lets make a few bob today. |
