Been seeing this annoying pop up for a couple of weeks now, does anyone know when this new "in play experience" comes in (not having to toggle between screens if watching the live vid etc) ?
Pause Switch to Standard View When do the fancy new In Play changes...

Wish they'd stop spamming this pointless cash out feature and get on with fixing some of the bugs that have been here for years.
Report brendanuk1 February 17, 2011 12:51 PM GMT
is this just doing the maths for people?
Report Lori February 17, 2011 12:52 PM GMT
More like doing sums, but yeah.
Report brendanuk1 February 17, 2011 12:53 PM GMT
whats difference from doing maths and doing sums?
Report Lori February 17, 2011 12:55 PM GMT
Sums are easy, maths is hard Silly

I guess it might be interesting if they show your current market (cashout) value at all times next to the selections (17) bit on correct scores for instance. Other than that it seems rather pointless.

Suppose we can now identify the sums dummies as the ones who think its great innovation

Despite the sticky at the top of the page, it doesn't seem to be in operaton yet anyway, just placed a £2 on rubin/twente to see what the format was and there's no obvious change.

Someone in site feedback appears to have the new layout, can't for th life of me find it though, which may not be a bad result.
Report brendanuk1 February 17, 2011 1:05 PM GMT
Wonder if it crosses the spread, suppose it must do. Then the crossmatcher will be in effect to
Report brendanuk1 February 17, 2011 1:08 PM GMT
no cant find it either
Report Lori February 17, 2011 1:55 PM GMT
Found it.

Turns out you can click the words in the black bar near the top of the page. If you click on Football you get a list of games, if you click on the game it comes up with the new stuff, complete with blackjack game on the right hand side Laugh

I dont like the look of their numbers. Even taking the prices on offer I can get a better cash out manually Confused have open position on Liverpool, cash out tells me i can get out for -12.29 and manually taking the prices on offer i can get out for -7.5

anyone else tried?
Report roger_moore February 17, 2011 2:19 PM GMT
according to the offical annoucement cash out is .....

The cash out value is the minimum amount you would receive if you were to make a successful cash out.
Report Lori February 17, 2011 2:19 PM GMT
Might be wise to take a screenshot of that. Not sure why, just smells like it might come in handy
Report brendanuk1 February 17, 2011 2:24 PM GMT
maybe their "cash out" is not the same as red or greening up?
Report Lori February 17, 2011 2:28 PM GMT
It claims to be in the post at the top of this page, unless I've misunderstood.
Report brendanuk1 February 17, 2011 2:29 PM GMT
Tried it on another match Villarreal. "cash out" £3, manually green taking prices on offer £8

be interested in anyone elses figures, maybe i am doing it wrong
Report roger_moore February 17, 2011 2:32 PM GMT
like i just posted - isnt it cashing out to the minimum not the max?
Report brendanuk1 February 17, 2011 2:32 PM GMT
The cash out value is the minimum amount you would receive if you were to make a successful cash out.

If I was getting the maxium and cash out was giving me minimum it would work
Report roger_moore February 17, 2011 2:34 PM GMT
ash Out is currently only available on the following Football markets but we intend to add more:
Match Odds
Correct Score
Over/Under 2.5 Goals

Cash Out automatically places bets on the Betfair market to lock in a position.

The cash out value is the minimum amount you would receive if you were to make a successful cash out.

Any profit made on the market will be paid when the market is settled.

Any reduction in exposure will be credited back to your account after placing a successful cash out.

Cash Out will only appear if the bets to be placed are greater than £2.

If there is a lack of liquidity in a market Cash Out may not be available.

The cash out value is the minimum amount you would receive if you were to make a successful cash out but cash out amounts are not guaranteed as they are based on the live Betfair markets where prices are constantly moving. This means you may receive more or less than indicated, or Cash Out may not be successful or only partially successful.

If a bet is partially accepted then we will offer you a new Cash Out amount based on your revised position and the current prices in the Betfair market.

If a bet is not accepted then we will offer you a new Cash Out amount based on the revised prices in the Betfair market.
