I have been answering to comments in the horse racing forum.
My point is that they should have stated in the terms for this promo that it only applied to ONE multiple bet of more than 3 horses over that 3 day period. To rely on a clause in the standard T&C's is a little deceitful imo. A promo is an enticement to bet and it should be very clear in the promo terms what is acceptable and what isn't. |

I have given you an answer on the identical post you made on the football forum.
Basically it says that you have read what you wanted to read and not what betfair have actually said. |

My answer being virtually identical to that of the management.

Where betfair need to get around this is that the promotional code needs to be applied as you ENTER into the multiple, the same was as, say, a discount coupon for a purchase on-line.
This would assign the particular multiple to that promotion. After that, if an individual goes to place another multiple using the promo code, they are locked out via a cookie that flags they have already entered into the promotion. At the same time, it leaves them free to place additional multiples without a promo code. Eezy peezy |

That wd be a good idea.
If you are arbing, the gain that you shd target w/ this promotion is £10-12. It isn't worth worrying about for some people, esp. given the risk you run w/ market movements, BF SPs and potential miscalculations. You got the 'easy' gain that anyone wd expect to make w/out grasping the most readily understood form of the t&c s, so I don't think you have much to complain about. |

This estimate of the gain depends on three horses going off over the day at around evens--which is roughly typical of Saturdays in the past when the prmotion has been offered.
