Hi  Everyone

Have any of you ever experience negative account balance ?

Account balance =100 GBP , Current Exposure = 200GBP

Currently I have been experience negative account balance (-100 GBP) and
I suspected that losing bets have been added to my account.

I was told to deposit 100 GBP into my account to clear my debt (-100 GBP) before
I can continue using Betfair and place bets.

However , in my opinion, Betfair will never allow user to bet more than the money balance
that we have. Besides, I also don't think Betfair allows us for credit and pay the debt later.

So, I very confused, any advice?

You appear to have 'matched' bets that are still Current and this is incurring the liability.

See if you can reduce some of those liabilities by taking the loss or profit.

Possibly you have laid several selections in a market. One of these selections would then have withdrawn from the event to leave you with a greater liability because, if one of your remaining selctions were to win (ie. you lose), there are fewer other losing selections to reduce your loss. Check that this is the case, and if so either deposit more money or wait until this market is settled and sort it out then.
