Hi

Is it possible to back with smaller odds than the currently best available odds?

Example: odds are 4.0 and I would like to bet with 1.05 odds.

You could bet £2 at 4.0 to make a profit of £6 and then throw £5.85 down a drain if you win.

think hes on about keep bets? he doesnt fancy the (horse) at 4.0 but if it gets in such a position where it trades at 1.05 he wants to jump on the bandwagon

Actually I read this as he wants to bet at 4.05, so maybe misunderstood.

But answer is still EFFECTIVELY no, BF will give you best odds there, if you try back 1.05 (it WILL let you do that) with 1k and theres 300 on 4.0 and 700 on 3.9, you'll match both of them, it just keeps giving you best money layed until all your bet is matched, which is nice and also safer as it helps protect you if you are all thumbs and put stupid odds in.

If however there was only 100 on 4.0 and nothing until 1.05 (quite bizarre but possible), yes you could do it, take what's there then sit on 1.05.
