Probably you have read on the net about riots in Egypt.

According to news Egypt goverment has shut down Internet for 80 million people. They needed only 13 minutes to do that.

I search on the net and find out that USA and Austria has also a plan (for all Europe countries)  to make a "kill switch".

What impact would this have for trading on Betfair if the man in main chair decide to shut down Internet when he want?

if they are shutting down the internet in europe we have bigger problems than having a bet

A government actively switching off internet would get same treatment in uk as Egypt, there is no reason to stop movement of information by a democartic government of that crime, national security and even then it would face court action.

Same as book burning imo. The actual books would be largely irrelavant, but the act has signigicance in itself
