Looking at my premium portal it says that £168.42 premium charge applied! That will be taken off my account tomorrow? Really need to alter my betting to try and avoid this charge.

leaving me up 400 for last week, which is nice, but feels like a right smack in the chops considering all the overnight cricket / lack of sleep i did last week.
Had a few days off since the e-mail came and withdrawn 80% of my funds out, not sure what to do really.

Jimmy, that would involve a pretty volatile looking betting graph though

I was sort of hoping that some of the perennial PC whingers might have felt the need to comment on Stapleton's post. I was looking forward to reading them. Why the silence ? They're all out and about on the other current PC thread running.

What I mean aqctually Mgt. is that someone comes on here stating he is a huge winner and pays no PC. Yet none of the perennial PC complainers question this in any form or manner, either in flat out disbelief or in an effort to understand how he/she does it. What is his technoque that enables him to savoid the PC, apart from the basic obvious fact that he is generating charges week in week out in excess of the threshhold.? Can they ( the whingers) perhaps learn something useful from this all round winner on BF.? But none of you ( the whinges) seem to be the slightest bit interested in this ( for want of a better phrase )other more positive side of the PC equation.

I sort of meant Mgt that it might be deemed to be a bit positive to try to analyse how he does it and try to replicate him in some form or manner ( if possible) to reduce or eliminate your own PC charges. Not up your street ?

Really??? I'm sure management has never even considered how to try and reduce charges.

oh - well that's odd. because I haven't paid any PC for months, almost certainly because I'm doing similar stuff to stapleton (if he's for real) allbeit on a much smaller scale. in fact, the strategies I use to avoid it have opened up new ways to make money.
but none of that's changed my opinion about the legitimacy of the PC, or about the way it's been introduced and managed.

quick question. On my premium charge guide screen i have a "Commission Generated" line along with "other charges" and "Premium Charges (exc.last week)". The first one makes sense but it seeems that the other two both seem to be in relation to the £1000 allowance. Does anyone know why these two have been split out or have i got it wrong/am missing something?
Cheers.

Ok thanks. What do you mean by accessing Betfair too much. If I only access the website manually through a mouse, would I still be eligible for these charges. Don't worry too much if you are not sure, I may have to give them a call.

Ok thanks for that, i'll have to give them a call to try and figure out if i've completely missed something or if they have "accidentally" made a mistake.

"Other Charges" also includes what would have been charged via Premium Charge had it been introduced earlier than it was (they let you off that bit kindly).
