I'm a Raceform Interactive user. Whenever i export results of a query into Excel, it changes the SPs (which are in fractions..13/8 etc) into dates, which i obviously dont want to happen. I've googled this issue but all the suggestions say i need to
''format the column of cells containing the data to an appropriate fraction format before importing. Follow these steps:
1. Select the column that will contain the fractional data. 2. Right-click the selection. 3. Select Format Cells. 4. In the Number tab, under Category, select Fraction. 5. Under Type, select Up To Two Digits (21/25), then click OK.''
However, when i have followed the above instructions and click to open the exported results with Excel it opens another excel sheet and still changes to dates.
Sorry for cluelessness but how do i get results to open in excel sheet i have formatted...or any other suggests to get around this. Many thanks.
You should be able to remove the formatting before importing. For example, when performing a web query, you select no formatting from the options menu, or the disable date recognition option. The options menu being found on the web query window. Apologies if this is not what you are looking for.

Thanks for the help, fellas. Discovered i have to untick an autoformatting box in Raceform Interactive to turn the odds into decimals, which i can live with. Will look out for the disable date recognition option in future too. Cheers, duncan.
