even id be happy with 10 bucks a day , beats losing , small wins all help, im kinda doing same now, givin up on my retirement fund here now lol, just fun and small profits.

mind you i would love to make millions but cant see me being so lucky so ill just take what i can get.

We'll I started a couple of days ago a 'Maria Laying' type of horse laying challenge (starting bank £2.5K).

I just hope I have enough discipline to carry it through ... and not chase when on a losing running.

made it ok on day 1 a handful of lays plus a £5 lay on 1:1 in the manu game in play.  having trouble logging out though.  it seems so easy

Of course by now I've realised that there just isn't enough irish races with 10 plus runners etc to allow me to make a tenner a day on them.  So as you can see I've branched out displaying shocking indiscipline in the process.  I will continue to try to make a tenner each day but working commitments will curtail my endeavours to mainly weekends.            Just as well you might add

Finally run out of luck today.  Lost £33.60 early on and had tp win the next 8 lays to make my tenner.  Thats it until the weekend , good luck all

Well as you can guess I blew the bank shortly after.  Then re-invested and blew it again.  Tried again with £50 on 13th and managed to recover.
Now 216 bets since New year's day i'm £86 up and will be happy to make £100 a month.  Lost mos of my money on football but then discovered greyhounds and they + the horses put me back on top. 
Charting my progress on excel is proving very worthwhile.

Just completed my 37th successfull greyhound lay.  Is that a record.  Should I stop now or am I ready for the big time?

well folks I've made £1.66 tonight.  It only took me 41 bets to do it.  Lost my £50 bank early on.  Put in another £50 and lost it.  Then put in £40 more and chased like mad.  Won my £90 back and put it back into my bank account and continued to rebuild my betfair bank and got it up to £51. 
I think Ineed to lie down for a bit now.

All those numbers make my head swim can anybody tell me if he is in profit?

Mornin all time for a progress report.  Original target £10 profit per day from a £50 bet.
Played           19 days    made 200 bet
Won              14 days       
Lost             5 days

Profit so far    £137.33

Pretty pleased with that as its not 100 miles off my target.  Of course it hasn't all been
plain sailing, as I've lost my bank 3 or 4 times but managed to sterady the ship eventually.
From now on I will be less aggressive in my wagers as I try to protect my profit.  Strangely enough
I'm beginning to be excessively proud of my profit chart and can barely resist flashing it up
on the projector at work.

...well beyond smug now and beginning to disappear up my own fundament.

How right I was.  Blew the lot shortly after.  Too much time on my hands.  If the missus was around I'd be £20 richer 'cos I'd be out buyin stuff in dunelm instead of being a weak morsel.  I couldn't resist the dogs, horses football etc.  Dont spose I'l learn at my age.  Logging off at £20 down having chased like arkle to to regain lost ground.

Just had a good run of 9 dog/horse lays which puts me up £23 over today and yesterday.  I'm now £160 in profit since 1st of Jan.
I am definately not betting again until tomorrow.

I know it's just a laugh and a hobby Bomb, but you're only hope of a profit is if you keep to the original plan, i.e. draw out the tenner per day. Not being critical, but at least then you can use the same money to start again when the inevitable chasing loss wipeout occurs.
