dont like laying home teams in european competition but when city is involved i expect they are going to be going out to win this, checked line ups and look strong but pzesko and krivets could trouble them.. so laying poznan seems best bet as i still expect city to get at least a draw

No you can build it up slowly over time.
Patience is an extremely important element in gambling, or in fact any form of speculation.
You'll never make 30 grand a year straight away from a low base most certainly, but you can in time if you reinvest all profits and take your time.
You must have a plan in place before you do anything.
Know why you are betting in the sense of what you expect to achieve in what time frame.
Be totally realistic in this sense.

Yes staking is part of it all.
Your bet size obviously has to be in relation to your bank.
No set rule on this. I personally try to estimate my worst case bad run scenario and bet according to how that relates to my current bank.
As far as how much you can expect to earn in what time frame, there is much variety of opinion on that on here.
For me, I couldn't really expect to much more than double my overall bank in a year.
But many others claim to be able to do far better than that.
Of course in the real world of financial investing, doubling your bank every year would see you rated as a genius.
On here it gets seems to get you rated as a plodder at best, and a plonker at worst.

You're getting far too close to all this for your own good sake.
You've got to become far less emotional and more detached and objective.
You're never going to win every bet, you know that.
You're just trying to win more than you lose in the final analysis.

stevie if you're going to do one of these things at least do something interesting.

not so sure as i cant be betting EVERY game, got things to do during the day etc, only some days im on for afternoon games so would take a longggg time
