I think 5% should see you through the worst case losing run. Could just about tolerate losing two thirds of my betting bank. What do you think - too conservative, too risky, or about right?

Well, it's hypothetical, but 55% winners is realistic.

If you can really hit 55% of evens shots (It's possible but unlikely), then you can bet a maximum of 10% of your bank on each one.

It's basically 2% of bank per 1% of winners at exactly evens. However beware of overestimating yourself.

Play around with that for similar questions, again bear in mind that's the absolute maximum you should consider, and realistically you'll be betting beneath that. (I like the sound of your 5% max)
