Lay - Alfonso The Wise 4:55
I laid it in the maiden last time, after watching that race i feel it can`t win this one unless there is dramatic improvement. At 2.5 even with the withdrawals, its a definate lay. Best of luck & as always others input would be welcome. |
By:
shanelee,is this a system lay
By:
shane u say uve been researching systems for 20 years on horse racing.....some are bound to make a profit...if only a little
By:
hasty, todays lay is not a system lay.
There is a system lay but for 2 reasons im leaving it. Firstly the trainer & secondly the price is around 11 on here. It may well come in (price), if that was the case i`d definately not lay. Upto now its 7/7 but i need to keep check for at least 3 months, although i did something similar around 2005 and made good profits, i then lost discipline and blew the lot (£1700) |

freddie
Yes, since i was a young man around 1983. Its just something i take pleasure from and still do, all the trialing etc. I must admit in the past ive bought alot too. |
By:
Sometimes you just have a gut feeling, combined with any insight
or knowledge you have and Alfonso The Wise falls into that category. |
By:
any systems youd like to tell about that are profitable?
By:
In my experience the best ones are the simplist.
I receive ratings for 1 meeting a day from a friend. I almost always use these as a guide. Im sure the ratings say in the daily papers or racing post may be as good. I know the post used to be good but i very rarely buy it now. Zip has spoken favourably of them in the past (i think) Any system always needs tweaking along the way, winning runs never seem to last longer than 6 months, hence my continuing quest. |

RAIN been drizzling for a while in DUNDEE ( roughly 22 miles from PERTH)....and now rain is getting heavier.....so beware GOING at PERTH.
Gl with bets today. |

By:
Shane & Freddie you guys are talking about systems
Zip has a system thats unknown to the general public. Its called the 2 hour system The racing starts at 2 oclock & at 4 oclock my system would have won Goodwood 2 pm back Dominant 2.35 back Sud Pacifique 3.45 Lay Holberg Perth 2.35 back Present to You 3.00 back Riverscape 3.35 Lay Kosta Brava Redcar 2.15 Back Male Model 2.50 back Regimental 4.00 Back Sunnyside Tom How's that for a system Good Luck |
By:
zipper is this system profitable?
u layed some big priced winners last week? did u make a profit last week? its all about p&l |
By:
One that springs to mind which i still use.
Firstly based on ratings i receive ( or use racing post ) I look for horses rated top (or near) that are carrying a low weight and have a few things in their favour. Ideally recent half decent form, though not always recent. I like a 10/1+ price range. Winners upto 60`s on here. _ |
By:
Good luck zip, great start.
By:
ive never went looking for a backing system......always a laying system
By:
Ratings are a good starting point freddie.
By:
Freddi laying it cannot be beat .. backing when they you odds against like my nap today they laid me 3/1 it won see div 3 ... its a very good system .
By:
Laying - As above with ratings, i look for a clear fav, ideally aw, around 2.2 - 3.0
Then if there are 4/5/6 horses with equal or greater ratings i then lay. You do need patience and discipline though. The lower prize money the better. You will make money. Also factor in your own filter(s) & watch for late money. After a winner or 2 i increase lay stakes a little, although this isn`t for everyone. |
By:
My system is for sale to one punter only .. ok its very expensive but you will recoup your money in 3 weeks ..................zip
By:
Im itching to start researching again and devise some more backing & laying systems.
I`ve been lazy lately, that and concentrating on football. Don`t buy any though, they are just rehashed & tired old ideas, at least they were when i used to buy them. I suspect nothing will have changed there, as in alot of areas in racing. |

By:
Shane forget football zip has been in this game 60 years plus and i can name on one hand pro punters on football ......... ZERO ........ ZERO hope this helps
By:
zip.....how much is your system going to cost me?
By:
4.00 pm Thats zip out call the wife and the nurse hey i love women..........talk tomorrow
By:
well done today zip.....i make it about a 10 point profit and a 4 point loss for u today...so 6 points profit overall...u the man
By:
Freddi it aint about how much it cost its about how much you win....... the system is for sale to the right guy and to be honest i dont think its you no offence.
By:
does the system pick out the lays or pick out the backs...or both?

Noticed a couple of meetings at Market Rasen in November, going to have to make the effort
to attend. Used to go to almost everyone. |
