Does anyone know if Skybet - the sponsors then - were allowed to and indeed did bet onsite at last year's Dublin Grand Prix every night?

It was the Grand Prix event 2 years ago that virtually put an end to my darts betting.  Outright betting was dead with the resurgent Phil Taylor, 180 betting was getting better priced and more difficult to get money on and then ir betting was dead because of the massive time delay in Ireland.

I seem to remember people mentioning some local guy running a stand at the event but taking off mid-event?

Skybet had been onsite the previous few years, but last year they stupidly outsourced it to Gary Wiltshire I believe, because they had lost money doing it and the staff costs etc were not worth their while. On the first night Gary encountered an incident and decided not to carry on. The onsite facility was therefore redundant for the rest of the week as no-one else including skybet could sort out a licence in time. An all round monumental c0ck up.

I see Bodog have the gig now, anyone reckon they will do a good onsite service this year? I have had no dealings with them yet.
