Simply multiply the number of placed selections to determine how many winning lines of the placepot you would have had.

For instance, in the 12 line perm below you would have had 4 winning lines (1 x 1 x 1 x 1 x 2 x 2) and would have won 4 x whatever the placepot dividend was proportionate to your unit stake.

Race No.        No. of selections        No. of selections placed
    1        1        1
    2        1        1
    3        2        1
    4        1        1
    5        3        2
    6        2        2
