Well i placed this morning a 1000 Euros lay in spain at 1,61 in the moment i placed it i saw the total amount crossed at 1,61 was 1.580.000 Euros, and the resting money was 38.000 euros with my 1.000 included. Now the total amount negociated at that price is 1.630.188 and still 51.000 to get crossed. Well tahts a negotiation at that price of 50.000 euros, and i was placed in the first 38.000 so mi order should have come in, unless theres someone who can go over in queues, and they dont respect the order of placement, this could be very disgusting for me and would show anyone taking advantage. Is this posibble, waht else can be happening?.

I know this is too technical so i hope someones gives an answer, even betfair

For some reason, Betfair counts the money twice when they sum the amount traded (once for the back and once for the lay I guess). So in your case only (1630188-1580000)/2 was actually traded, and you're still in the queue.

Petter, betduck is worse:

If you match £10 on a horse at 7/1 (8.0), they count that as £70!

Bear this in mind when looking at their liquidity.

Petter has explained it right.

If there is 500 in line
and you put a bet of 75
before any of yours is matched
1000 (2 times 500) needs to be "matched"
then
150 (2 times 75) needs to be matched for your bet to be completely filled.

Do Betduck still measure volume like that? I know they used to but thought they had switched to Betfairs method .

And on another point why is it worse?

If someone backs 1,000,000 at 1.01 - BF = 2,000,000 and BD (old system) would count that as 1,010,000?
