My bookings or corners bets have been "stolen" numerous times.. Even when I press cancel when I see something happening on tv, my bet already is being taken. I understand that my tv is not real live, but the delay is certainly not 8 seconds.

If you are referring to today's semi final, the ITV pics were ages behind - betfair had suspended about 30 secs before we saw FT.
Betfair suspended around 93 mins when Van Bommel was booked presumably as they thought the ref had blown for FT, they did unsuspend somewhere around the 94 minute mark. I'd consider my ITV picks were c. 10 seconds behind live.
Oh didn't see the unsuspend. Was just watching hoping that Uruguay hadn't scored!

if you're watching digital pictures, 8 seconds won't be far off, actually. it's certainly over 5.
I am pretty sure that this is not about the pics. I tried with hitting the refresh button when a match is ending, and I noticed that my pics are behind for 1 second. I also can see it on the odds movements that my pics are really on time (BBC).
I am sure that there are people who do not have to wait 8 seconds before their bet is placed. Is this betfair itself maybe?
