TTT- Yeah that's the nature of these bets .
Most of the scores that i will be laying will

TTT- Just a little experiment i'm doing on the
correct score market in relation to the match odds .
I think i no what the final answer is going to be
already but i'm going to carry on and do all 64 games .
I wonder if anyone is backing the scores i'm laying ?

I reckon if you were to get say 60 out of 64 successful lays, then Her Majesty would have no option other than to make you Custardcream64 MBE.
It is very reassuring to note that she has recently ennobled another richly deserving individual on the South Coast, presumably for his 'Services to Not Investigating Let Alone Reporting the Many Internal Scandals at PFC'.
Have a good Ascot. A small lay of Goldlikova and Canford Cliffs for me today.

For some reason this wonderful new forum only posted my table and not my comments!
I see you have been getting praise for just 3 losses out of 26 but the reality of the situation is that you would have less money in your pocket than at the start. It is important to show the full picture as there are many lemmings that read and copy the strategy without looking at the reality.
I am not hear to moan I am just giving a more balanced view.

to read the whole thread but if you haven't then i will
repeat what i said earlier for your benefit and anyone else's .
I shall be doing a complete round up after game 64 , showing the profit/loss on the bets and also commenting
on the methods used on these bets , how it can be improved,
what staking plan and % of bank to use etc .

I think i might as well knock this thread on the
head now because i know that i will get more hits
and there's no way these bets will be in profit
after 64 games .
It's very hard to lay at these odds and show any
worthwhile profit even before commission .

I think i might as well knock this thread on the
head now because i know that i will get more hits
and there's no way these bets will be in profit
after 64 games
Hard luck Custardcream, but your thread is a good example of how tough it is to make a profit from making predictions, I mean at best you will lose to commission long term, and if you carried on for ever you would probably have a good run but of course lose about 5% over the course of years.
Some of the guys on the main CS thread are doing well but will go the same way IMO, as there is no edge in predicting the final score of a football match (that I can see anyway).
Laying the favourite (2.4 or less at KO) seems to be a good bet so far in the WC matches, showing about 12 points profit so far.
