yeah it sounded like it from regualr updates, seemed a real rollercoaster, i enjoyed watching it from the sidelines.
over the period i was laying them aswell my figures actually looked a bit better than the ones i wasbeing sent! would never do it again though, the markets on here are far too tight for blind lays. |

Good Morning guys ....... HI Tiger and Clacherholiday heres a bit of advice for free .. Sydicates Are no good .. 4 reasons .. 1 only one guy picks the backs or lays ..2 hes already got his money on .. 3 leaving the rest of you chasing thr price .... 4 if its a back at say 8/1 .. and the rest of you chases the price down to say 7/2 well he greens up with a lay ... my advice .. pick your own .. get in there first ...

febuary 2008, remember one day they had 1 winner, one of the wisemen tipped a 7/2 winner in a race that 8 other tipsters had a go on. an all too infrequent winning day for the layers. another average day today then? |

btw guys, the theory behind why flat laying the tipsters SHOULD work is sound, the napsters just dont provide the fodder required for such an effort.
since the dawn of mankind, the witch doctors and priests have attempted to predict the future, they always get it wrong, its impossible. thats why bookmakers measure their profits in hundreds of millions and punters are left waiting for payday, ive seen the numbers (worked for a high street chain for years, odds compiling and shop management), they never ever have a balanced book, the bookies ALWAYS carry a red on their sheets. they are happy to carry it though, they have experience, they arent predicting the outcome of an event, they are simply predicting that the punter placing a bet cannot predict the future. so how do i take advantage of this? i picked the most volatile sport available, football, its the only team sport where one bad decision or exceptional piece of skill can change the result for the other 22 men on the field. in tennis one bad umpire call might cost a player one point from the dozens required to win, a player in good form is more liekly to outplay one bad call to win the rest. in horse racing, the horse youve backed may well take advantage of a faller but then the restof the field can get a boost form it too. in football it takes one blow of the whistle or one piece of magic to change the result. my edge is in the info im getting, who's books to copy and which games i carry a big red on, i have no input into it at all, i lay everything that punters are willign to back. it works for me, laying the tipsters SHOULD work, it doesnt though and it gave me many sleepless nights wondering why. the problem was that although they more often than not got the selections wrong, we could only bet them at the correct betfair price, its why i would always urge caution when laying the tipsters. by all means lay them, but if you arent getting a fair deal on the individual horses odds, then youll get taken to the cleaners. |
