This is a basic check for the PC I carry out.

Why is there a discrepancy this week?

FFS. Do I honestly have to check on this every week?

Gross P&L less Comm Paid = Net P&L (not including PC, transaction charges etc.)
Gross P&L less Comm Generated = What Betfair use to calculate PC
Report The Investor • April 12, 2010 7:08 PM BST
I mean that as Comm Generated as a % of GP rather than Comm paid.

Yup. It works out like that every week! Is wrong this week though, well week commencing the 29th March.

Not by much, but if they keep thinking I am making 10% more it's going to add up viciously :(

Net PL is an irrelevant metric when it comes to calculating PC.
Almost all PC payers pay more than 20% in total charges.
Report Cosmic Horizon • April 12, 2010 10:09 PM BST
I pay around 23% in total charges. Each week the PC is added to the com so that I will have paid betfair 23% of total profits. It might well be that people on 5% com will be paying the 23% figure and people on 2% the 20% figure.

If you're on 2% commission it can even be lower than 20%.
If you're on 5% it will always be higher.

Has the masters been included in this weeks PC calc ?
Report Angela Rebecchi • April 13, 2010 3:59 PM BST
Every week I have checked

Gross PL - Comm Paid = Net PL (from My Account)

(I have to request a breakdown sheet from them weekly to see the Gross PL and Comm Paid totals)

This week my it is out, suggesting I have won more than I have, therefore increasing my charge.

Someone else said (I think Clydebank) it was out this week, so far I have received only bizarre feedback from the Helpdesk. Negotiations are ongoing!
