I could get out now and take £7 profit if unders and lose nothing if overs but i'd be a bit of a hypocrite so the bet rides.

uws I'd rather be a hypocrite with a profit than lose half my bank should the bet come unstuck

Bet 5 - Under 2.5 goals. Liverpool v Birmingham at 2.27 £50

Right this is a massive risk im taking here. More than half my bank is on this tonight. The way i see tonight's game is this, i cannot see Birmingham scoring. I know Liverpool haven't been strong at the back recently but Birmingham seriously lack fire power. So the bet is whether i can see Liverpool scoring 3. I can't i think the game will finish 1 or 2 nil and im just hoping that Birmingham will be as good at the back as they were against Man City.

Let's look at some stats, in Liverpool's last 6 league games 3 have been over 2.5 goals. Their last Champions league game was under 2.5 goals all be it against a far stronger team than Birmingham. 4 of Birmingham's last 6 games have been over 2.5 goals which doesn't bode well for my bet but i can only see their being 2 goals in this game. I think the market is about right. Over 2.5 goals at 1.78 and unders at 2.27 but im willing to go with judgement, i hope this doesn't backfire.

Good luck with your bets.

==============================================

OVERSTAKING
BAD VALUE
WHAT HAPPENS if LIVERPOOL SCORE IN FIRST 15 MINS? Still unders good?????????

If you believe LIVERPOOL will score and be ahead HT ....then based on your post they will still be ahead at FT.........So why is LIV/LIV bet at 2.08?????? and

UNDER 2.5 goals currently 2.02

If you believe it will be tight game 1st half .....0-0 is 14.5...........instead of risking "massive" chunk of bank on your bet..........why not stick £3 on 14.5.........0-0....then lay off 2nd half........as you believe LIVERPOOL will struggle to score goals ...then 0-0 bet looks the bet on your initial post + lay IR......

Just a bad bet IMO.............................even if you win............................half your bank on a 50% odds bet AND IT IS A FOOTBALL MATCH!!!!!!!!! Where edge is dodgy IMO......on this match anyway !

Of course ...it is a challenge ...but is it worth getting into bad betting habits ?????????

What's bad betting about it? I could get out now and take a profit so surely thats good betting, no?
By:
DFCIRONMAN
When: 09 Nov 09 18:45
Get out now IMO .....if you do it NOW it is a bet only ....it is only won if it stays UNDER 2.5 goals ....

If you really believe LIVERPOOL won't score 3 goals in this ....nor BIRMINGHAM won't score...thyen IMO poor judgment!

Under 2.5 goals is now the market favourite at 1.97
By:
DFCIRONMAN
When: 09 Nov 09 19:02
Yup ...although games played YONKS ago....and probably not relevant........trust you noted that BIRMINGHAM scored at least 1 goal in 7 out of 8 of LEAGUE matches................

So if they score ....which I believe they will.......will LIVERPOOL still get 2 goals ????? Soon see.

Early goal likely IMO...

I don't know if i can make it pay in the Overs/Unders market. Struggling like hell so far. I have far more success backing Match Odds and what not. Still its only £100.

It's taken me a very long time to get my head around Overs/Under markets. Luckily I was able to break (roughly) even during that learning phase. But even now I still wouldn't count on it for income.
By:

When: 09 Nov 09 21:28
Well total credit to you. You can obviously make it pay but im really struggling so far. Do you lump on say under 4.5 goals or just play the 2.5 market?

well today was one of the worst days for unders imo (few games and loads of goals)

but a great day for late goals (overs)

dont take today as a usual day it wasnt
