Loosely Fastbear, the system is based around horses that have performed consistently over its las three races, must have ran a certain amount of races in its career and only in particular types of races, a few niggly complicated rules as well, but if it reaches around a 30% strike rate and around a 50% place rate, then who knows !! fingers crossed.

The Fastbear form system says, Parsons Punch in the 3.00 if backed to fav, Mistress Eva at a nice each way price in the 1.10 , Thievery in the 3.10.

Hi guys. Fantastic stuff, keep up the good work. I will get involved as soon as I can, I have a very busy schedule at the mo and It's getting in the way of my favourite hobby! I have been noticing some interesting results for the possibility of a 'Sir Clive' style system which I think warrants a bit of looking into. With a bit of tweaking it could be quite interesting. My, where does the time go? Anyway, the bit of spare time I've had has been spent studying the PP for Saturday. Sooooo near with a second last week. My shortlist consists of Ouzbeck (although a slight concern about the ground, Don't Push It, and Maljimar. won't bore you with the details of why, but I'll probably end up backing all of them. I've already done DPI and Mal. I've always thought Ouzbeck was right for this and will kick myself if he wins and I've left him out. I'm still looking into one or two of the other ideas that I was toying with and will post when I've got something more concrete to report. GLIR. :) |

I must say that looking back over a larger sample of results now that I think the idea I had for this selection method is slowly turning out to be a bit of a turkey! Just over 500 races with a 23% strike rate, returning under 400 pts at sp. I'll put this one in the bin!

horseracebase.com is a minefield of stats for system building, a small donation gets you access to the system builder, its a complicated thing and I havent much spare time to play about with it, but I donated a tenner a few months ago and thats all it takes, but as system builders go it has everything you could ever want, worth a little look !
