Thanks for your comments and i agree with what your saying but the DRAW NO BET is an excellent market in my opinion. Should the team not win at least i don't lose points.

Bet 46 - Newcastle DRAW NO BET at 1.85 (10 points)
Sheffield United v Newcastle Sheff United are currently 15th in the Championship. They have been in dreadful form of late and after 6 games without a win the pressure to get a result in certainly on Blackwell tonight. A defeat may seal his fate. They have conceded 15 goals in 8 home games this season including their 2-1 carling cup defeat against league 2 side Port Vale. They are also missing a string of players, especially from their midfield. The one area in which Newcastle posses real quality. Newcastle haven't been in great form of late either but Kevin Nolans 90th minute winner against Doncaster has put them right back on track and a win tonight will see them top the league. Newcastle are missing Ameobe and they really need a 20 goal a season striker. Their front pairing of Harewood and Carrol isn't the most terrifying in the division so i don't see them scoring many tonight. The same cannot be said about their back four though. They have conceded the least amount of goals in the division and tonight they welcome back Taylor and Coloccini. Alan Smith is also back. I think a draw is the best Sheff United can get out of this game. Good luck with your bets. |

Hey just out of interest you know you have bet draw no bet.. how come you don't fancy the lay of sheff united...is it just due to the risk of losing more points if sheff united win?
Oh and well done with this thread so far unlucky at the weekend but keep up the good work! |

By:
ChrisWidge, from my head and a bit of research. Dunkley yes i see it as a chance to get points back rather than lose them but i may decide to start laying instead of DRAW NO BET.

Bet 47 - Chelsea to beat Atletico Madrid at 1.98 (10 points)
Bet 48 - Lay Atletico Madrid at 4.6 (5 points - 18 points liability) Chelsea have scored 9 goals in their last two league games and they also hit 4 in the Carling Cup. They are in blistering form. Tonight we will see Joe Cole back after his impressive game against Bolton and he will be key tonight for Chelsea. We also see Didier Drogba back after serving his three match ban and although he spends most of the time on the floor he is still one of the best strikers about. When Chelsea met Atletico at stamford bridge they ran out 4 nil winners without Drogba and Cole. I think Chelsea will win this one or two nil. Atletico Madrid are currently bottom of the group and 3rd from bottom in the league. They will be looking to make an impression tonight for their new coach but a draw is the best they can hope for. Good luck with your bets tonight. I wont be about as im going out. |

gd lk, liability looks a little steep, with chelsea basically thru, they may have one eye on the w/e clash v man utd, but gd lk all the same

Lyon v Liverpool
We all know Liverpool need to win this game. After a very disappointing start to both the Premier League and the Champions League, they need to get back on track tonight. Rafa's head is on the chopping block and these our the sort of games Liverpool thrive on. I backed Manchester United to beat Liverpool recently and Liverpool produced their best display of the season. A defeat tonight and they will be playing in the europa league (sounds strange even saying it) People may say without Gerrard and only a half fit Torres they don't stand a chance but Man United would of thought the same thing. Torres has been in superb form and scored 6 in his last 7 games and i wouldn't be suprised if he scored tonight. Lyon have lost 2 out of their last 3 league games. They were beaten 2-0 at home to Sochaux and 4-1 to Nice, they're hardly in great form themselves. On top of that the Lyon players have been falling out with each other and Jeremy Toulalan had to be pulled away from attacking their manager (Mike Tyson style) they are also missing 3 central defenders and Toulalan seriously lacks the pace to keep up with Torres half fit or not. Liverpool need to win, Lyon will settle for the draw. Good luck with your bets for tonight. |

15 points down for the day
Absolutely terrible day. I never back around the 1.5 mark and below but backed Barca thinking it would be an easy 5 points profit, lost. Panicked backed Insua shown a card for far to much, lost. From now on im betting on what i know the English League's and no tournaments Im giving far to many selections because of this thread. So im going back to being selective rather than just betting for the sake of the thread. |

Are you still planning to start a tipping service?
|
|
By:
No Betfairy, i was never planning to pal it was just an idea. Ive had 6 months of betting and been 15 points plus each month but this month so far has brought me back to earth. Maybe it was just a lucky 6 months, i don't know.

In all seriousness, it's the losing spells which make or break a gambler.
Any fool (no offence) can string together a few wins, but it's not until the losses come in that you find out what the "real" balance is. That's why the sample needs to be many 100s of bets. As long as you can be selective and give genuine reasons to yourself for each bet, then you should be alright (so long as you are absolutely honest). Then after you have 5 years' worth of profitable bets you'll not want to sell your tips anyway. |

Fair point pal. Im not here to make out i know it all because i don't far from it but comparing me to mr-winner. I mean come on your having a joke.

Im giving far to many selections because of this thread. So im going back to being selective rather than just betting for the sake of the thread. Herein lies the problem-drop the thread and concentrate on winning money. Forum adulation means absolutely nothing. Don't mean to sound harsh but don't waste your valuable time posting on here. |

Fair enough, you've got a point. People don't seem interested.

Bary robson thread : I know and I talk.
I am a superb football tipster. 1. You can talk, but can you do the walk.( no). 2. Who told you that. If someone asked you dig out a 9/4 shot you would'nt know where to start, paper trading is a easy, when the money is down it gets a bit harder. Advice : You only learn to win , once you learn how to lose. Cheers, and good luck . |
