best for me wasnt the semi final v arsenal but going on the pitch when we were 2-0 down in the fa cup with 20 minutes to go. ruud came on and changed the game and we won 3-2 with 3 pitch invasions!!!

Big thanks to all the well wishers. I'm sure people have made quite a bit from this. A 48% ROI is nicely above my target and a massive return. Just for comparison, Hugh Taylor returns a 20-25% ROI (to prices you can't get on at ;) ).

2010 looks to start with more of our horrible cold weather but it will clear eventually and things will pick up again. Have a good 2010 all, best of luck with your punting and another thanks to the well wishers.

I have the patience to wait for the bets. Much better to wait for a bet you fancy than just have a bet out of boredom and it go on to lose. When I used to place upwards of a 100 bets a month I made a lot less that I do now placing around 20 or so.

hi pjay, i must say if you can get bets on with sportingbet then you are a lucky guy or you have a losing account.

My bets on Capricornus are spread across both exchanges at 3.2 (which was easily available), as i'm guessing most people will have done.
99% of people can bet with sportingbet. Chronicle and betinternet also went 2/1 (you won't see me ever stating those as a source though!). Anybody could get that 2/1.

We're up against Hugh Taylor today too. :)
