Hi fellow betfairians. As it's a new year & a few of you guys are doing these kind of challenges I just thought i'd join in and start my own wee thread.
The idea is exactly what I said in the title. The aim is to reach over a grand & complete this in the next wk or so.
Feel free to join in and help me along the way. Lets hope I don't crash & burn on bet number 1. :)

Craigs bet would be bank one leaving four more banks. When there is plenty to bet on like on a Saturday you could have all five banks running at the same time. Say two bets lose you will still have three banks left with £20 in.

Dave, thats not a bad idea mate. I'll see how I get on with my first few bets. If i get to £80 I might them split my bank into 2x£40 banks to give me a 2nd chance and maybe split them again further down the line. Lets hope I get bet number 1 in before I even think about that :) |

Thanks Ninja, yep, tried that 2 or 3 times. Twice I failed on the last leg, 1 of them was a 1.1 shot, unreal but it was a great feeling when I did complete it. Hopefully i'll manage to complete this on y 1st go. ;)

Right, here goes for attempt number 2. Sorry but it's closer to 13/8 after commn rather than evens. I just couldn't really find much else I fancied.

Cheers RD, yeah your right but I just wanted to get the first couple in tonight. Will now take my time and carefully choose my bets now that the bank is building up. Hopefully get bet 3 and 4 in over the weekend. I have a couple of bets in mind for the wkend just now.

There was a thread along these lines from Oct to Dec last year titled "10 even money bets for £25,000". chuck6969696969 made it to £8k before calling it a day, so it is possible to get up to the big bucks.
Looking at having a crack at this myself. Last week I had 7 winning bets in a row, highest even money, lowest 1.52, all for £100 a go, if I had rolled them up 1 after the other would have been looking at £5k +. Admittedly would have blown the pot on friday night backing Hamburg v Wolfsburg. I had £110 on spurs last night at 1.85, so will class that as my first, approx 7 bets to go to get to something worthwhile. I guess the key will be managing to keep the discipline and not jump in to early. Good Luck all involved on this thread. |

Craig I know that ( re lays ) ....... what I was meaning is that rather than laying on here better to back and have the draw on the high street ...think you may find better prices elsewhere and no comission also.
