For me it can be slow navigating markets. But I have to use it at the moment because I have a big prob with Firefox. It just hangs and says "Loading" without ever loading the site. Reinstalling and removing plug-ins hasn't solved it either.

Is this all the time? I have this problem sometimes, but it seems to be a betfair issue rather than a browser issue as the same happens when I load it in Chrome.

Firefox is definitely much better for Betfair than Explorer as far as I'm concerned. As for Chrome, it is much faster but doesn't always work properly. I may switch when Betfair have optimized the site to work well in Chrome.
One HUGE advantage of Chrome is that each browser window is a separate process, so if one crashes the other browser windows will be fine. It also supports multicore processors, which firefox doesn't yet, this is a really important issue for me as the lack of this feature limits the amount of browser windows and tabs I can have open without the browser crashing.

I switched to Chrome from IE8 just this week out of necessity and must say I'm impressed with it so far and haven't had any problems.
IE8 has been a real pain. Works fine on my XP machine but constantly crashes on my new W7 64 bit lap top.Virtually unusable to tell you the truth.
It works ok for a while until I have 3 or 4 tabs open and then I get the ''not responding' message. No spyware or viruses and MSE running all the time.
I've googled it and it seems others are having the same problem with some recommending disabling add-ons and then re-enabling one by one in order to isolate the cause of the problem.
Can't be bothered with all that tbh hence the move to Chrome.
Have any of you encountered the same problem?.

Can someone tell me how you store and recall favourites with Chrom?
every time I have to type in the web address. For me it is the only browser that properly refreshes the betfair forum. IE never seems to.

I had a virus called ave.exe which has screwed me over. Now firefox just says "Loading" when you start it off. And then just continues saying "Loading". You have to stop the page loading then refresh it and then you get to yahoo say. But in betfair it hangs loading "My Account" or individual markets. Pretty much unusable. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but get the same problem. All add-ons are disabled. Even in firefox safe mode it's the same problem. All virus checkers report no problems. But I can't use IE because it logs me out every 2 minutes. Sometimes I get so frustrated my skin turns green and my muscles bulge and my shirt starts fraying. Then I shout "AAArghhhh!!!". But I don't hit anybody. Not like the incredible hulk. More the Credible hulk. If I could put my fist through the screen and just cause it to feel pain without damaging the hardware I would!
