Good luck

but to be honest, unless you have 40 pounds and 5 banks, you will never make it.

£10-£40 or £10-£50 is hard, and £100-£200 is hard. Once these parts are over it gets much easier.

Need 1 more in the city everton game, but I also laid Fulham to qualify for £10 as well so will continue with that if i dont win on the city game

Thats me done for the night

Dont quite follow. Started with 10 pound you won 2.70 on the man city game after commission, just how did you arrive at 25.70 laying Fulham to qualify?

£10 laid Fulham to qualify @ 3.8

I may be thick and I may not be able to read but there is nothing wrong with my maths. If you must post these fantasy island threads then do your homework properly. A lay of ten pounds at any price can only win you nine pounds fifty pence after commission.

No, my liability was £10
backers stake was £3
By:
buzzer
When: 25 Mar 10 10:58
so you won £3 minus commission from that bet

Yes

Bet 3. Higuain FGS vs Getafe £2 @ 4.2

Current bank £0
In play £25.70
By:
buzzer
When: 25 Mar 10 11:02
people are confused because that £10 you used for the Fulham bet has been added to your total
By:
DodgyDog1985
When: 25 Mar 10 11:06
yeh your maths dont add up.

Bet 1: Back for £10 at 1.3, meaning £3 profit, then take away commission and your looking at about £2.85ish

Bet 2: lay £10, this wins you £9.50ish after commission.

So adding them together your bank would be at about £22.35

don't get so uptight you've started a thread, for whatever reason, and are then just changing the rules if it looks as though a bet is going against you. Don't bother posting on a forum if you don't want comments just jot your bets down for your own record.
All you had to say was you were adding another £10 because you thought you'd fecked up on your first bet and when your first bet landed you were now continuing with the extra money you'd added. People would have understood then, good luck

No I laid Fulham before kick off. I always had £20 in my account so I used it all up. I didn't place that bet when I thought my other one would lose. Cheers anyways.

ok then you laid them pre kick off, didn't mention it when they were leading 0-1 but when your Man City-Everton bet looked in trouble, and Spurs were 3-1 up, you casually dropped it into your thread. Is that a better summary?

There if you don't believe me but yeah what you just said is a better explanation. If it is bothering you that much you don't have to read it if you don't want to. Don't let it keep you up a night mate.

the point was you started a thread £10-£1000 put your bet up and then added another when things looked like they were going pear shaped. You could have made twenty other bets yesterday for all i, or anyone else, knows and the vast majority could have been losers but when the one you started your thread with looked in a bit of trouble you could have just plucked a winning bet up and then posted it on here. I wont look at your thread again so you needn't worry but this is a forum that has gone drastically downhill over the last couple of years and posters such as you are a reason.
If you lose a bet so be it you lose, i lose plenty, it's part of the game there's no shame in it but adding other bets renders your thread worse than useless.

Spot on Buzzer and Dodgy. I for one will not be making any more comments on this thread as you have said it all, but i will be looking at the thread everyday for the priceless entertainment that this and all the other threads of the same content bring me. Where would we be without the daddy of them all "Schalke" the originator. What would I do between races and at half time for my amusement, waiting for the thread to fail triggering the stone throwers. Love em, keep them coming and may the forum sink to even lower depths.

No offence dude but you sound like a right**y t-wat.

There are no guarantees in betting, making money over the long term is about making lots of bets with favourable odds.

Hope you get wiped out!
