You should listen to callataxi, Schalke. What he says makes great sense.

If it makes money who gives a **** what odds are being used !
Agreed - if it is a good bet - why must it sit within a given range of prices? The approach, i.e. only limiting oneself to a fixed set of prices, is completely illogical. That is why the 'challenge' is a farce, not the fact that they are long odds on. |
|
By:
what happens if you see a 1.10 shot in the snooker that looks nailed on - can't play it because of the price - seems sensible ;)
|
|
By:
Then al wait ......

thank u catflappo ur too kind. he just cant see that a former professional snooker player who says he has such a good understanding of the game is not even getting close to maximising decent profits. backing guys on frame ball or when 1 snooker ahead is hardly showing some great skill. why he cant bet properly on frames at proper odds in running is a mystery and probably shows his weakness at knowing what prices players represent in running where its a bit more of a feel price where balls are safe, colours tied up etc.

By:
sjp, the reason I am limiting it to 1.05 is that when I have done this system with higher odds it loses more ....

Look on the bright side. You'll never have to pay Premium Charges....

Well, I had £500 on davis to beat gunnell other night, traded out at 3-2 up ..... I do do normal bets but this is the 1.01-1.05 challenge

I just tend to skim through these threads every now and then, looking for the big loss. Does that make me a bad person?

Then al wait ...... If the 1.10 guy cancels his bet before the shot, and 1.05 is still value, would you now bet it? |
|
By:
well, only if it was at 1.06 to lay, and if I thought it was a good bet then yeah ......

Good luck Schalke.
This can be done. I did it for a month and won £800 from a £200 bank about 1 year ago. I then got bored, took more risks and......lost the money I had won. So the trick is not to get bored or take bigger risks (to name a couple, actually). |

looooooooooooool , odwyer and schalke agree. 2 biggest fools on betfair site. blind leading the blind would be an accurate assessment.

Well, I think going 3 years without one loss kinda proves it ..... Which 3 years is this please? The first 3 years of your life! Yes, you had ONE very good profitable thread, which is more than outweighed by the endless screw-ups. I genuinely wish you well, but you make the same mistake over and over again, losing it all is inevitable until you start learning lessons which many on here have given over the years. |

keep at at m8....only real way to make money despite what the guessers will tell you. Short odds are the only place to find the 'mythical' real value

anyway as for yr 1.01 bets in the snooker schalke, what proof is there that u only post them after they have potted ball and frame is stone dead. i know u have to get yr bet on 1st, but if player misses as u strike bet, im sure that post wont be hitting this thread!! the only ones that are definitely legit are yr footie bets as they often have quite a few mins to go, frame ball nitemares im sure we will never see posted.

callataxi i agree. thing is with schalke when he has a loser he throws a long tantrum (sometimes for a week) and isn't seen for some time. so i think it will be obvious when he does his nuts even if the offending bet is never posted. good luck

Well, you lot go on about the losses I've had on the forum, well, I put up all bets ...... this isn't just about letting people see the bets, it's also for me to use the forum as somewhere to record my bets. What is the point in putting up bets that has lost, what a waste of time. If I place a bet it will go up no matter what ! |
