But only by risking his entire bank 19 times.
Nevertheless, well done. :) |

welcome back S04. I am having terrible results on my 567 challenge on the competitions forum. Tempted to do it in reverse as a lay 567 goals, but remember your lay 7 goals lost pretty quickly.

Schalke can i ask why you take up these long odds on challenges -is it just for fun and the challenge? Yeah mate, totally for some fun .... but at same time don't want to lose any money, so I think it's best once reached 100 split it into two banks. |
|
By:
keep it up Shalke....there are good and bad 1.01/1.02.....not seen many bad ones from the selections you have posted.

|
By:
marioli - that is an excellent point you've made. Detractors here should consider every penny is a prisoner and the "steady drip fills the bucket". Magnify Shalke's stakes by 100 or 1000 and you have a serious earner.

OK - a hundred times - got carried away there!

I started a very similar system 4 days ago. I started with a smaller bank than Schalke, and for that reason I am not posting any of my predictions/results. As I cannot be @rsed answering those that would knock it, as I do it for my own pleasure/interest not for othres to take the p!ss out of.
I have increased the amount of the original bet stake by by 469% in 4 days, by using the same method as Schalke. Betting on short odds, then putting the winning amount onto the next bet. Once I get to a certain amount I inted to bank half of it in case (or when) I get a losing bet. That way I can carry on with the system. using the banked amount. Hopefully I will make enough from the banked amount to carry on the process..... All that typed with one too many beers in my system :) Bedtime shortly, work in the morning.... |

19 winning bets and won 13
is it really worth the effort |

Thanks for the reply Schalke. I was just curious what motivates you to do your challenges.
From a risk - reward point of view i think 95% of your long odds on bets do have value. However, i am sure you would have to agree that when you factor in your time and the relatively small rewards then it is not really a profit making enterprise in a real sense even if you do win. However, from your reply it seems you like the challenge more than anything and so good look. P.S what sports are most prone to getting 1.01 shots turned over and which are most reliable at the same odds? Again, just curious. |

I would say there is a better than even money chance that you will double your starting bank Schalke. If you have a sensible exit strategy to cash out when you do so and start over again i would say you would be favourite given your knowledge of sports to double up more than 1 in every 2 times to prove on paper at least that your system works.
Not sure the same system could be scaled up and magnified by 1000 times in terms of bet size as someone mentioned. That would mean you would need to be getting laid 37.5 k on average for your bets and you would never get enough good value 1.01 shots at those stakes as you do at the moment. |
|
By:
Schalke the best way to silence your knockers would be to offer a side bet to all comers prior to starting each new challenge.
The proposition bet would be that you can double your starting balance of whatever ammount you choose by solely betting at under 1.05. Lay them even money. It would add even more fun to your challenges. |

I would say there is a better than even money chance that you will double your starting bank Schalke Of course it's an absolute piece of p1ss, there's free money all over the place, but you have to remember that schalke is the only one that can be bothered to waste his time in such a fashion. For most of us it's a 1.1 shot, but allowances have to be made for schalke, so he's about 3.0 |

Slowlly slowly catch a monkey Schalke - 20 out of 20 and counting.
Is there a betfair record for most consecutive winning bets (even at 1.01) and if so what is it? P.S why do you put a copywrit symbol before and after your name? |
|
By:
Schalke do you sell this system on, I have software which means you can trigger an alert to subscirbed customers informing them what bets have been placed advising them to follow suit... I think Id have a few interested investors, not much but I would think I could get 50 subscribing say a pound a week so 2.5k ball park per annum for us to split... you interested?...

Schalke i thought your thread was RIP when Swail came back from the dead to win frame 23 needing a snooker with two balls left. How close were you to taking 1.01 when Wembo was taking his shot on the pink?
You dodged a bullet there. |
|
By:
I didn't bet on frame 23 .... it was 24 I done
|
|
By:
I wasn't even in the house when frame 23 was on, I was working. I came in the house and seen the snooker was still on. So I started up the comp and got frame 24 just in time ....
|
|
By:
Paddletoe .......
I don't know how the frame looked but if you were saying a snooker was needed, did wenbo have an easy pot on the pink? What was the situation, there are only certain situations that I back in frame betting, thats why I never lose on frame betting .... |
|
By:
Wembo was 15 ahead and at the table with an easy enough pink to middle. Before he took the shot he give a fist clinch to the crowd. He would defo have been a 1.01 shot at that stage. Even when he missed the black was in a very tough spot to work a snooker for Swail.
You lucky wee rascal. |
|
By:
The Pope himself would have taken 1.01 on frame 23.
You got a get out of jail free card there Schalke. |

Oh well then, sounds like a frame I may have taken .....
