NONshy, what bank did you start off with for the above? or are u paper trading it?
I see you have made about 17pts profit or so, just wandered if it was £10 per point or something like that? |
By:
You should of tried the 11.22.33 system with this as i see you have never lost more than 5 bets in a row
|
By:

WBA/Everton game would have been a good bet but thought it would be a 0-1... never mind, small loss for today
|
By:
Bet 102: Man City/West Ham @ 2.4
Great price... Citeh are a different outfit this year... Not as defensive as last season and against a West Ham side who have scored plenty recently and rarely kept a clean sheet (one in last 8 against Peterborough) and they haven't failed to score a goal in last 8 games (18 goals in 8 games) City took a hammering from Villa last week but still managed to score 2 goals... they have kept two clean sheets in last 8 and failed to score once. Man City/West Ham games are notorius for being low scoring affairs... the last six games have ALL been unders... SIX goals in total!! Now you may think I am mad after that statistic but I feel Citeh under Hughes will be more attacking and have completely different tactics to Sven's side. West Ham's Ferdinand won't be playing... Ashton and Cole up front with a hopeful return of Scott Parker. Dunne is missing for City as well as Jo and Bojinov... The price IMO is simply too big... I feel both sides will score and think West Ham may get the win 2-1 |

Are each of your units/stakes quite large for each bet? If you're returning a 17 point profit over a season, then surely you'd have to be staking fairly large to make it worthwhile/profitable?
|
By:
I started off with £25 (£250 bank) when at uni before posted this thread then increased to £50 (£500 bank)
I have just graduated so looking for full time work... when i have a full time wage i will increase again but at the moment keeping within my means. It is all relative I suppose Notts Forest/Sunderland is a nice price at 2.2... will have a look this afternoon when back from golf |
By:
Olympiacos v Anorthosis is a ridiculous price for unders BTW...
2/1! Olympiacos need to win 3-0 or better... Anorthosis won't be attacking and hoping to hold out |

By:
Well done nonshy, ever thought of martingale your selections, i see you could of profited very well from this method also?!
|
By:
thanks TOTGA... i did go through a run of 7 losers so that would have been expensive. I have been having a quick look at your thread and some very good consistent selections there!!
there was another guy who claimed he would never pick 8 losing "over" bets in a row and cost him a few thousand... can't remember his name! i do think there is something I could do with staking system to improve returns |
By:
Hi Nonshy, yeah ive looked at martingaling overs/unders before and made about 50 selections and the worst i got was 4 losers on the bounce, i realise that 50 is nowhere near enough to make a fair consumption to see if it can continue!
Ive also looked at Baseball, laying teams that are odds against in poor recent form and have a weaker pitcher, so far over about 32 nights of betting i have never lost all 3 martingale bets on the bounce, not a bad way to achieve some extra profit if laying to achieve say £25 per match?? Also, the Financial markets is a good way of getting good lays for even shots, i suppose i have been looking alot at laying (martingale), guess there is always the chance you could lose but maybe if i had a cut-off of say three bets then it should be easy to achieve profit over a period of time? |
By:
Hey Nonshy, was wondering if i could join you on this thread and just kp track of a martingale system im goin to use for overs/unders, promise not to clof up too much of the thread though?!
|
By:
feel free mate... be nice to see some other selections and bets up instead of my own drivel all the time!!
|
By:
Afternoon NonShy,
Could I be so rude as to join in the thread and post my bets? I used to back overs a few years back and did ok, I have been following the thread and like the fact that you keep your discipline and that there is thought behind your selections. GL |
By:
Ok..I have to go out now so I will post a selection.
Midtjylland v Man City, hopefully Jo will start and I can't see either side keeping a clean sheet. Bet1) Midtjylland v Man City over 2.5 @ 2.16 |
By:
Yeah no problem mate... will be interesting to see how people get on and what selections people opt for!
Today though have gone for the same as yourself... Midtjylland/Man City game. The first leg Mid should have scored more than one and feel they will score tonight. Man City impressed on Sunday and feel they will also score... as well as the fact they actually have to in order to progress... 2-1 Man City I fancy. Also backed Cherno More v Maccabi Netanya... both teams are very capable of scoring goals and with the game balanced at 1-1 feel it could be won by either side... always the worry though that these games are cagey affairs and both side looking for a 1-0 but at the price will take the risk. Bet 109: Midtjylland/Man City @ 2.1 Bet 110: Cherno More/Maccabi Netanya @ 2.34 |

York/Torquay is a great bet for unders or even 0-0
