As long as u dont bet too much i dont think ur any wrose off not havin a staking plan as long as ur confident in ur betting.all it means as theryll be big swings either way
longs u dont chase too much then u shud be fine thats the way am playing it |
By:
Thats it though mate, without a structure or a staking plan it is doomed.....
Lets say he has 5 bets tomorrow..... £20, £10 and 3 x £5 bets..... and the £20 and the £10 lose..... but his 3 x £5 bets win..... he is down on the day, not in good form and the deadly chase is on his shoulder..... A staking plan stops this, gives him lots of breathing rom and is still building his bank..... |
By:
i no what u mean mate but bets like £20 wud only need to be on a 1.1 or 1.2 which cud be inplay when uve got as good idea of which way the games goin if u know what i mean i dont usually bet on football from the odd just when i have a idea of which way or whos more likely to score and win
|
By:
bet on football before the odd*******
|
By:
off lol sorrry for keeep posting my f and d are dodgey
|
By:
A 1.1 or a 1.2 can quickly become a 1.5 or a 1.6 if a goal goes against you..... and if you are looking to take out 2% or 5% why not trade instead rather than back a 10's on shot ???
The under/over 2.5 goals market..... nice and easy to trade..... much rather do that than lump a 10's on and put on the bicycle clips..... :p |
By:
Appreciate all the advice guys, I really do. In all all fairness though, if you look at my bets, I think I have only gone above £5 twice, those in which were very low odds and were both successful. I don't see how I can go wrong if I continue this way. I may be wrong and be made to eat my words. Hopefully i'm not though :D
United win so have won both bets :D |

By:
..... 2% a day is easy mate, absolute doddle..... the key is discipline and bottle when the stakes get higher.....
|
By:

Wd Free on tonight's footy. I won on 1-0 Porto lay myself and but then layed Arsenal 3-0 at HT :(
Bailed out before the end though to reduce the losses by well over half...might stay up for the first Copa Lib game...any views on it yourself?? |
By:
Rob, might do mate..... I honestly think 2% a day is a doddle..... so many different ways to make that.....
|
By:

All of us are in it together so hopefully a year from no there will be at least 4 of us looking at very nice banks :D |
By:
Defo mate a no ppl will doubt this thread from the start but am ready to give it a goood **ing go
|
By:
eh a wrote f**king about and sum how cabbages**up :S haha
|
By:
Free that would be great as it can be acheived with patience and an ability to stop at the target.
Everything go faster was saying is totally correct and if a serious attempt is to be made at this then that advice is key as it is the staking plan that is your guide to the next stake and not the confidence behind the selection. |
By:
Really nice to hear mate :)
|
By:
Clough thank you for the post.
How is your bank coming. Post up your current bank in Bold :D Post it up so it's really easy for all of us to see just how everyone is doing :) That goes to all of you guys btw :) |
By:
Oh, my thoughts on the first match and reasoning behind my bet.
From what I can see, Palmeiras have a full strength squad to choose from. Although they are currently bottom of the table, qualification still remains a huge possibility and Palmeiras will really go for this I think. Also, last time these two sides met was in their most recent tie in the Libertadores, which saw Palmeiras go away and win comfortbaly 2-0. Hope this one comes in :D |
By:
Guck luck FreeStyle And Clough im off to bed up early tomorra

START BANK £100.
BET 1CaracasVEverton.+£112.26. BET 2Fantasia,PLACE. + £5.70.Tot,£117.96. BET 3Porto,V,ManU,A/U+£3.04.Tot,£121.00. A little in front here but i did mention there will be days where i have no time for a bet and as i am early on in the challenge i have felt comfortable with an irrational staking system for the moment. Once the bank is rising i will possibly bet when chance arrises as not one to place a bet for the sake of it,Small bank for fun bets that i would not want to play as part of a long term objective. |
By:
Fantastic stuff Clough, good to see you doing so well mate :)
You on the Palmeiras game at all? |
By:
For all you guys just starting up with the £100 starting bank and the 2% increase, this is the first month.
Day Bank £100.00 1 £102.00 |
By:
Free, going to watch first 15 as Palmieras stuffed me on one of 2 occasions i have ventured into this comp.
Could you send email adress for PJ to my email please. GL with yours. |
By:
Looking at the table, it is actually very strange. You don't actually reach £1,000 until day 117 which is well in to the challenge. Then you reach £5,000 after a massive 200 days. But then the £10,000 comes up just 33 days later from the 5k. Then by day 300 you will be up to an astonishing £38,023.45
yet, only 65 days later you'll be on the massive sum of £137,740.83. Incredible :O |
By:
Ok Clough no problems. Is your email name James B?
|
By:
Penalty for Palmeiras :D
How many penalties have I had go in my favour recently :D |
