It won't work unless the odds of the draw at half time are incorrect. If you blindly do this you will lose longterm.

Hi Folks,
I don't believe you guys! What a bunch of doubting Thomas's! I glad you found my posts entertaining, now I have the last laugh! PROOF! Liverpool v Man U has just finished. At HT the score was 0 - 0 and the Lay odds were 1.78. Read Steven's letter, this was a classic game for his system. Man U scored with five mins to go and I watched the Back odds climb to 100 with 2 mins of play time left. Go on, work out how much profit you could have made today if you had you Layed the Draw @ 1.38 then Backed it later @ 100 then greened up. I did allright. I layed the Draw @ 3.2 before the game and Backed it a few moments ago @ 15.5 then greened up. I also backed the 0 - 0 draw @ 8.0 and Layed it later @ 3.00, again greening up. How much I won is of no consequence, the point is this system works! The joke's on you guys, see you around! Ha, ha, ha...! Dino :o) |

u won nothing as THE GAME DID NOT END IN A DRAW. :)

At HT? hmmm |

p2p, you can't be serious!
You said; "u won nothing as THE GAME DID NOT END IN A DRAW" To clarify! I said, time and again, AFTER Backing the Draw I GREENED UP! You do that by downloading the FREE software from Bet Angel Basic. Before you post again, check it out. Then come back with an apology, if you've got the guts! Dino :o) |

my apologies i thought, u were having money for nothing on the draw

You still havent explained why you would back 0-0 when the score was 1-0
And why you would have won thousands last night on Derby being a draw, when they actually won 5-1... When you can answer these questiions people may stoplaughing at you |

That's right Dutchy Schwarz,
At HT (Half-Time) the score was 0 - 0 and the Lay odds were 1.78. That's exactly the point Steven was making above. He said wait until HT. If the score is 0 - 0 then Lay it as you'll get better value. I agree with his logic. But having researched the stats, I find only 1 in 10 games soccer matches end in a 0 - 0 draw, so I prefer to Lay my bets before a match and pay the extra. TIP? In a couple of hours, Portsmouth are playing Chelsea. The chances of this game ending in a 0 - 0 is remote. So you could Back the 0 - 0 Draw now @ 12.00 for safety, then Lay the Draw @ 4.10. The minute a goal is scored, Back the Draw, then GREEN UP! Alternatively, you could just watch the screen as the match unfolds and see what I mean. Once Chelsea are 2 or 3 goals ahead, the Back bet will rocket to a 1000 and the market will collapse. So, grab your profits at the first opportunity. I'll be back after the match, good luck! Dino :o) |

Blimey Dinosaur! I wish I could predict the future as well as you do. But then again I remember the past. Only two weeks ago there were two 0-0 draws in a row, followed by a 0-1 with a goal in the last seconds. Now, if only I had layed the draw just before the goal....

Ok Pike,
I owe you an explanation. I did write some pretty long posts on this topic prior to this and there were one or two unintentional typographical errors, for which I apologise. There's no Editing button here to correct mistakes! lol You said... 1) You still havent explained why you would back 0-0 when the score was 1-0. I Backed 0 - 0 when the score was 1 - 0 precisely because a team scored. I had already previously Layed the Draw. All the way through a match the Score price drops, both Back and Lay. When a goal is scored the Back odds increase and allows you to make a profit. If you still think the game will result in a draw, 1 -1, etc. you could just leave your bet to ride. i.e. a free bet. 2) And why you would have won thousands last night on Derby being a draw, when they actually won 5-1... Have just answered this but to reiterate. If I thought the Derby match was going to end in a Draw I could have left my bet to ride. Usual practise is to wait for a goal then take the Back odds offered. However, sometimes it's fun to speculate (which I do) and just leave the bet on. The Back odds can drift out to 1000, that's 999 -1. Amazing! If you've got the nerve to wait and speculate, then you can take the Back price @ 1000, GREEN UP, and pocket the difference. Hence I say it's only a matter of time before I do this and people will stop laughing! Have fun, Dino :o) |

Hi The Betfairy,
Thanks for your thoughts. I too haven't got a crystal ball, in your case a wand, which is why I said 'The chances of this game ending in a 0 - 0 is remote.' Probabilty based on stats, definately NOT certainty! Best wishes, Dino :o) |

This is the most surreal thread for ages.

So you actually admit placing money on a match being 0-0 , even after a goal has been scored..I thought you were having a laugh, but you seem serious..
This thread is the most surreal thing Ive ever read... |

Hi Only The Brave,
You missed the boat buddy! I advised you Lay the Draw before the match. I did this @ 4.0 and when Chelsea scored their goal I then Backed the Draw @ 8.00. Then I greened up and now await a profit from this game whatever the result. Anyone watching this game progress on their screen will see events have happened exactly as I surmised and advised. There's the PROOF! I'm at a loss to understand why you other guys can't see the obvious. I'm not a nut, just using it! It's called Betfair Trading as opposed to gambling! Be back after the game. Very interested to see if the Back Draw bet hits over 100 as Man U did! Dino :o) |

Dinosaur, what would you have done if there had been an equaliser b4 the market had been unsuspended ?

What on earth do you mean "and then greened up". You can't use the vast profit on the draw to "green up" if the odds are 100 or 1000.... |
|
By:
You've gone against the system - when Chelsea went 1-0 up, you should have backed 0-0. How else are you going to win that 50,000 ? You are probably only all green for 5 your way.

Hi Dario exposed as iron,
You asked; "Dinosaur, what would you have done if there had been an equaliser b4 the market had been unsuspended ?". There's no such situation as 'unsuspended'. I'll take that as a typo and assume you mean SUSPENDED. A market is suspended immediately a goal is scored or a red card is given. A 1 - 1 draw cannot accur whilst the match is SUSPENDED as the match has been stopped by the ref. As for Pike and others who post here simply to be rude, I wish to remind you that if you disagree with 'the plan', then attack the plan not the man! If there's something you don't understand feel free to ask questions, ok! Read Steven's letter again, all the information regarding what I'm talking about is in his letter! Dino :o) |

"Go on, work out how much profit you could have made today if you had you Layed the Draw @ 1.38 then Backed it later @ 100 then greened up. "
OK I lay 100 @ 1.38 ... if I am going to "green up" by backing the draw I end up betting 1.38 @ 100 to have a greened up profit at 93.69 after commission irespective of the result. Or I could put 100 on the draw to get a profit of 9368.9 in the unlikely event that it is a draw ... but nothing otherwise. So how will you make thousands if it is not a draw? |
|
By:
Steven's letter says lay the draw at HT. You've not done that once. Did you pay much for Steven's advice ? I should contact him again - I'm sure he can come up with another strategy for you at the right price.

dinosaur, there have been a lot of stupid people on this forum, but you are, by far, the worst.
and the biggest problem is, you actually believe what you are typing!! explain to us how you would have won thousands on the derby game. You can't. you are a moron. |

No, he means "unsuspended", i.e. put back in play. Several times I have seen another goal scored before the market has been turned back in play on Betfair. It can take up to a minute for the market to return. |
