Assuming that prior to the new addition the market was running at (or close to) 100% then the OP is correct. - However, it may have been that the market was anticipating an addition and was therefore running below 100% to account for it, in which case some may have been caught out trying to back all selections. I wasn't following the market in question so I don't know what actually happened in this case.
