Also a small ew on Gracie´s Games. ...never run at Southwell, and worth a punt at odds IMO.....other one that may well figure in finish is Fulford.

Preference for one above though.......against fav.

Fav up in Class ...though still only a CLASS 6 race....and up in weight ....so this combination might stop it winning today on the slow going.

Should be a "good" close finish in an open race .....

Of the trainers R J PRICE on AW with 4yos+ has best record compared to fav trainer and also Mrs G Rees ......so perhaps 15% is not as good as 11% in your book at Southwell ...using your "logic2 that CLASS 6 or CLASS 7 is similar re CLASS.........................

i actually think the horse will win but it is too short to play!!!

but u can come back on and gloat about winning 300,000 fake pound..

Starting Bank I million ...... yes you read that right 1,000,000.. its only a bit of fun .

However, he/she is a pretty good selector of winners ......so they are up to a good standard compared to many on here......

The fav obviously has a very good chance to win the 12.10 race....won well against horse running in later race today....but feel the extra weight will make it a lot closer today....soon see.

GL zip...i have a small cover win bet on fav ...as could well win....would not lay it etc.

ibiscuit - the result in DIVISION 1 race was no surprise really ...in that fav was beaten....and the oldest horse grabbed a place....finding winner was hardest thing to do......it usually is though!!!!

TAG TEAM hopefully at least places in next ...if it doesn't ....then I might stop for today , as going is "odd"

DFC ... Your talking about old age pensioners horses racing only . Try these 2.40 .. The Tatling 13 years young about 7/4..... 3.40... Boundless Prospect 11 years young about 2/1.... lay em both ....... and we claim to have the best horse racing in the world ..... god help the rest . zips on .

Well done DFC. Could the temp be a factor today in these short races? It's well know that low temps give results in poor performance from the leanest / meanest athletes and cyclists.

It was a tricky race the 1st one ......and going meant to be SLOW does effect the type of horse that runs better than previous run on Standard ........

TAG TEAM ran better than last time out....but was always likely to be beaten by younger horse on the going.

The temperature probably does give experienced horses a better chance to finish ahead of younger horses in certain types of races.......but really it is going IMO that is the important factor ...as usual !!!

With DIVISION 1 and 2 races...like first 2 races......usually one of two races goes along lines I think it will go in, but other race may well not go as i expect......this is what happened today. with hindsight the horse that finished 2nd in 1st race was a good PLACE bet.......but winner i just would not have had....

Now generally "happy" that going is SLOW.....which means better chances for me today......

Don't like the next race though.....Only 2 places......so PASS...far too open IMo
