Am hoping for some good and well explained feedback from this post ! Although I have been on Betfair for quite a while now I really only know the basics such as creating a green book during a horse race, etc If anyone has any good advice strategy wise in both football bets or horse racing bets then I would be very grateful......

No: 1 rule of strategy club = If you find a one (an 'edge') DO NOT TELL ANYONE
so doubt you'll get any help here ;-)

Only bet when you can't lose.

I can also tell you what not to do:

1) Chase losses - each bet should be in isolation and have an EDGE. Discipline is the most important trait of the succesful gambler.)
2) Overstrech yourself with too many markets/sports - the key in specialising in a few markets (unlike other investments like the stockmarket where deviersifcation is deemed the the best risk strategy)
3) Bet randomly - i.e. have a staking plan is possible, but again, each bet in isolation so this can alter...
4) Bet with your heart - i.e. dont bet on/against a team you support if it is swaying your judgement
5) Bet when drunk or in too good/bad mood - can affect your perception ;-)
6) Spend time writing stuff like I am at 1:30am on a Saturday night - get out more & enjoy life or rest in between!

Further to this think about a little break after a big win. Let it settle in before continuing. It's easy to increase stakes a little in the euphoria of the moment and regret it later.

You could ring Tommo's daily phone service and lay his tips! ;)
