Sick of this gambling lark and want to contribute to society.

Can anyone recommend a good knife. I like the small pointy ones, but sometimes think the thundering great big ones might be better for stuff like lopping off an arm.

Any good books? I'm thinking of specialising in sports injuries as my gambling background should be invaluable, but wouldn't mind taking out the odd brain or two as that looks fun.

Lori, I hope you'll follow the Kelly surgery recommendations on knives.

Basically, the better your edge, the more you can cut with it.

Betfair are rumoured to be starting up a hospital exchange that matches 'surgeons' with patients. Betfair will take 20% of the body fat from the patient as commission. "Prospective patients are reminded that some people described as surgeons may in fact be unqualified".

Eddie, that's where they got the idea from. Not for the first time they're claiming it was an original idea.

I might be able to put some work your way, Lori.

I would advise against becoming too specialised in your chosen field and wouldn't mind a quote for the felling of a couple of conifers that are well and truly ooc.

In order to fit in to your new profession it's important to enter into the spirit of things and not be as pernickety as you are with your gambling.
Urgency and a sense of cost management are more important than precision.
