I'm not actually interested in the exact figures, I just want to know the top five sports by turnover, in order. Are they published anywhere?

Thanks to anyone who can help.

I think I once read an article which said 55% of their turnover was from racing and another 35% was from football. But that was the same article that said no-one in the UK is a consistent winner, so it might not be totally believable ;)

Total guess,

Horse racing
Football
Tennis
Cricket
Dog racing

Tennis and Football must be streets ahead of anything else.
Report CLYDEBANK29 November 27, 2009 2:56 PM GMT
Football would be streets ahead in terms of turnover. A better guide would be commission earned though which would probably bring horse racing a lot closer.

Just email them and ask for a breakdown of your account by month and by sport.
They will send you an excel file with all your info since joining.

Super Hans is right re top 4, I'm fairly confident. Not sure about dogs, I suspect golf might be next.
Report History Maker November 28, 2009 8:43 AM GMT
Yeah, my guess would be exactly the same - what Super Hans said except golf in place of greyhounds.

Racing
Soccerball

Not much else after that apart from the major tournaments in golf, cricket ,tennis etc
Report Yossarrian November 28, 2009 7:08 PM GMT
Tennis
Football
Horse Racing
Cricket a fair way back after that
Everything else a fair way back after cricket

I think I'll e-mail them and ask. The worst they can do is tell me to p!ss off.

not enough games
Report FatoteSport November 29, 2009 5:54 PM GMT
Racing and Football would def be in the top 3, but I imagine Bandy would be #1 no?
