Stuck a few quid on a horse this afternoon. It was 3.2 to back and 3.3 to lay........as soon as my money was down at 3.3, 'something' dived in at 3.25. Is this real money or the ping pong merchants trying to steal a 3-4 quid? I only ask because I thought BF had got rid of the bu ggers....

3.2 to lay now. Don't seem to have the same problem elswhere......

Maybe I'm just paranoid????

Hi stewarty where have you been? The £1.99 leap frog merchants are still on the go I'm afraid. IMO it's not about bots but the information they give the bots.

Hello Feck, Hope you are keeping well. I mainly conduct my buisness elswhere now and have had few problems. The horse in question is Itea Du Fau in the 2.10. I stuck up 100 quid on it at 3.3, (it's.
still there) I'm fairing fairly well but have had a lot on my plate recently which I have no control over. How are you fairing with this 22% 'tax' ;)

I'm hoping I won't be affected by the pc stewarty now that it's changed over to lifetime profit. Sorry, I meant I hope I will be affected by it :-) I still haven't started betting yet as it came too late in the flat season for me to bother. TBH betfair has become a depressing place. Did the rule change not put you in a better place?

Sorry Feck, I genuinely know nothing of this rule, but if it's lifetime profit surely it would affect yourself??

Feck, have you checked out the portal to see what your lifetime % is? I was alarmed at mine tbh.

Matched at last. Perhaps I should have been more patient, however, there's nothing worse than wanting a monkey on early doors at 2/1 for example, not get matched for the 2/1 only for it to end up a 13/8 chance. (swings and roudabouts)

When you go into a busy bar to order a drink do you walk up to the bar to give yourself the best chance of catching the bar person's attention or do you stand about 3 foot back on the off chance that a complete stranger will feel sorry for you and offer to buy you a drink?

Yes Muqbil, my com generated is 25% which is less than what I thought it would be. I had calculated I had paid around 27% of my profits and expected the com generated figure to be higher because I was mainly on 2% but I had made the infantile mistake of comparing com paid with NET profit.

Personally I stand at the bar but there's a ferengi cnut behind me in the queue who then shouts he'll pay a penny over the asking price for his round and a bidding war starts. Can't be bothered with that pub any more.

beetle , I would say that the first scenario apply to most men and the latter to most women.

The bots are alive and well on this sight. What gave you the idea they weren't?

beetle, Iv'e also placed an order for anothe ton at 3.6, (when it was 3.6 to lay). There's still 91 sods available if you want to oblige......

Yep, plenty of bots. I do have fun trying to fcuk them up though. Really cut their margin down with my £2 ghost bets. Can't stand them.

Clydebank, I haven't been on the forum for about 9 months. At the time I changed colours there was a lot of talk about this and that. Bots were one of them. Suffice to say, apart from the odd occassion, I'll still stick with my favourite colour....

Yep, don't go bot hunting but if I spot one that's preventing me from getting the price I want then will wound it.
