usually do one of these each year on the tennis phorum but the last 2 years they got deleted as they degenerated into unseemly slanging matches. flattered(?) that i inflame such passions in some posters on there! :0
anyway, the idea of posting is to try and help with discipline which i struggle with on the horses. so easy to fritter away money on silly bets on other races while waiting for the next race you're actually interested in!

only mildly annoyed tbh. reasonably happy to lay a horse at odds on that's never jumped a fence in a race before, and the minack only had weird irish p2p form to go by. but i do usually steer clear of ruby hotpots.

i've got various criteria to arrive at the picks. if a horse meets most of them it's a full bet. if it meets some but not all then it's a half steak bet. why not leave it out? fair point, but the idea is to have some fun bets on an otherwise dull boring winter's afternoon.

actually watched a couple matches yesterday there was fckall else on. despite all the high and mighty comments about the atp i saw the same muggishness as on the wta. one match had 4 blakes in 5 games :^0
