*imo people win small & lose small pre race but people lose big & win big inrunning. I could go along with that. But in my opinion the higher volatility with IR means on average most will do their nuts. ====================================================== Same applies to most BACKERS QG........................and neither BEFORE a race or AFTER a race is it "easy" to win............ |

If you are referring to my comments reread them He was proven to be a BSer and admitted it from time to time - giving a :p when he was caught out. I dont care whether he made the money or not. ======================================================== If you have noted Koos posts over the last few YEARS, then perhaps you would accept he was a creditable person, who was obviously talented at IR betting............................ He did not have to PROVE anything...........and what you posted is not true......... |

DFC of course. Its difficult both ways - we'd all be millionaires etc. But I have explained my position.
I postulate that the "fast pics boys" fight over their own money. Huge amounts are risked in the final furlong at odds on. Where is this money coming from? I would suggest no one but themselves - and a few naive who quickly get burned - and perhaps a very few very good race readers who leave bets up, and maybe a very few inside scammers (eg *know* a horse will "fade" in the final furlong). There is so much more money available pre race from so many more sources. If you are good enough to beat the evens shot by 5% you make money. Easy to say, hard to do of course, but a good, disciplined, patient form student can do it, without sweating and risking a coronary on split second decisions. Make sense? |

He did not have to PROVE anything...........and what you posted is not true....... --- I dont want to go over that again. It certainly is true. Undeniably true. All you have to do is read through his threads, when challenged he fronts up that he put most of his bets up pre race, but continued to refer to his profirs as accumulating through "in-running". |

Many punters just set a LAY to be taken IR before the race....in order to get a "free-bet" or to do that then try to go all green once initial lay taken IR. So a large amount of money will be coming from that source.....no idea how much , but Bf will know stats.
IR betting is a skill that top IR players will have .......without information ( bulk of their bets will be based on judgment, or their BOTS just go to work, based on their IR plan.) Information with horse racing is something that generally is not worth relying on.......if you rely on factors which you know are relevant, then that is how I am sure the bulk of money traded IR is set up based - 1. Course. 2. Known running styles of horses. 3. Distance of race. 4. Perceived way punters will back..... 5. Numerous other factors...... Information probably is a very small part of why money is traded IR.......................mostly skill and judgment etc |

Fine.
But to clarify by "put his bets up" pre race I meant take a positon pre race and either double up or get out in-running (sometimes). Nothing wrong with that. My issue was with the misdirection. Why'd he do it? Who knows? Kudos I suppose. Anyway I have moved on from discussing him specifically and wont further. If you wish to discuss the merits of IR v Pre race betting etc I'm happy to do so. |

Football starts shortly....so will be watching that....
I think you have it totally wrong re Koo ........from his tips in competition ....clearly he is an IR player ]:) :D GL with bets......... |
|

you too.

Are you dating Koo Delta?
|
|
By:
split up :(
|
|
By:
Why? Like his betting, did he usually finish before the market went "in-play"?

A weak metaphor I admit....

.......... using that theory DFC, you must be the greatest IR player on here imho. ========================================================= As Koo has never been in PREMIER division ( hope Iam right on that guess) or got to top of it for his 15 seconds of fame........., and I have, then perhaps your theory is not much of a theory Deltâ. Yeah ....my naps have been c rap ( many many 2nds at good odds) for last 12 months...FACT......but I have not been appraising or watching too many races in that 12 months, so my naps have been generally c ra p! However, my form will return, as I am now viewing and studying racing again............and winners will push me up table over next 12 months..... I'll leave the IR players to dregs ]:) :D .....being a pre-race guesser and not "the greatest IR player on here".............................................Koo must be well up that table though !!!! |
|
By:
GL BTW Deltâ on the good chance to go top in YEARLY NAPS tab;le.........you have been very very consistent last 12 months ..top napping! WD
