2 losses this weekend totalling £105.50 . A bit unlucky with Everon scoring in injury time which cost me a £118 profit but hey ho - sometimes it works for you, sometimes it doesn't!
So fund now looks like this :-
Opening bank = £2000
Total bets = £261.00
Returns = £160
Balance = £1899.00
Profit = -5.05%
Opening bank = £2000
Total bets = £155.50
Returns = £160
Balance = £2004.50
Profit = +0.225%
I never expect to make a profit each week. Last seasons graph looks like a mountain range but with the overall trend upwards. I've moved my stop loss up from £1600 to £1688 which is a sensible way to lock in any profits and minimise any losses.
I did make a slight mistake by not realising that the Sunderland/Newcastle game was an early kick off. I would normally wait for the result of this game before placing second stake but overall no harm done.
Ok I've made all my pre-season selections and will stick with these throughout. I don't claim to be a football genius - I use probability rather than gambling skills and it was this that helped me to a 70% profit last year.
Anyway, Tottenham was to be one of my selected games but that has fallen foul of the rioters so just one bet for tomorrow:-
Fulham v Aston Villa £50 on the draw at 3.20
I'm using b365 iniatially to claim a £100 bonus but will revert back to Betfair when this is completed.
Welcome to my football investment blog for the season 2011/2012.
Last year starting with a £1000 fund I managed to return a 70% profit and finished on £1704. The lowest the fund went was £880 and the highest was £1900 ish.
I hope you enjoy following my fortunes and I promise that any posts I make will be accurate and honest (including any major downswings!) I honestly believe that using a sensible system can return major profits without the uncertainty of stock market fluctuations.
This year I will be starting with £2000 so all bets are based on that amount.
